User Roles and Permissions

User

The User role is designed for individuals who interact with the app to perform tasks related to data management, search, and organization. Users have the following permissions:

  • Semantic Search Perform advanced searches using semantic understanding to find relevant data or assets.
  • Create/Use Concepts Define and utilize custom concepts to categorize and organize data effectively.
  • Create/Use Dynamic Tags (Beta) Create and apply dynamic tags to assets or datasets. This feature is currently in beta and may evolve based on user feedback.
  • Create Datasets Create new datasets by grouping related assets or data for easier management and analysis.
  • Ingest Assets Upload or import assets into the app for processing.

Org Admin

The Org Admin role is intended for administrators who manage organizational settings and user access. Org Admins have elevated permissions to oversee and control the app’s usage within their organization. Their permissions include:

  • Invite Other Users:Send invitations to new users to join the organization and access the app.
  • Retrieve API Key:Access and manage the organization’s API key for integrating the app with external systems or services.
  • Delete Datasets:Remove datasets from Coactive, including all associated assets and metadata. This action is irreversible and should be used with caution.

Dynamic Tags (Beta): This feature is experimental and may undergo changes. Users are encouraged to provide feedback to help improve its functionality.
